This project involved converting a former industrial unit into a dedicated educational facility, with a focus on reusing the existing structure to reduce embodied carbon and make efficient use of the site. The design introduced modern upgrades to support the building’s new function while keeping environmental impact to a minimum. Vision Energy provided a detailed Energy & Sustainability Statement to guide the development, ensuring it met planning policy and performance standards. The strategy focused on improving the building fabric, introducing efficient systems, and integrating a rooftop solar PV array. Together, these measures helped deliver a well-performing, future-ready space with a clear focus on energy efficiency and long-term sustainability.
